Seismic conversion accessories for the Remington 870 and Mossberg 500/590

Most conversions will fall into 1 of 4 categories.

1.       Full stock shotguns, for hunting, general purpose, and tactical.
2.      Manufactured traditional pistol grip shotguns with 18” barrels
3.      Mossberg Shockwave with 18” barrel.
4.     Remington Tac 14 and Mossberg Shockwave with 14” barrel

Seismic Conversion Accessories Include

Seismic Grips:
Remington 870 and Mossberg 500/590: These grips are designed for models with 18” barrels or longer. Do not install these grips on the Tac 14 or Shockwave with 14” barrels. We will have extended length grips available for these models. See blog: Seismic Shotgun Conversions to do this legally.

RM Cheek Weld:
The receiver-mounted cheek weld comes ready to mount with hardware to the common drilled and tapped patterns,
Remington 4-hole, and newer 3-hole patterns
Mossberg 4-hole pattern
All RM Welds come in a 2 hole pattern, it’s all that’s required for secure mounting.

Barrel rail Options:

Vent Ribbed Barrels:
3 options will be available for both Remington and Mossberg.

  1. Picatinny rail slotted to fit over the rib. Comes pre-drilled with hardware. Installation requires drilling and tapping the rib.

  2. Picatinny rail slotted to fit over the rib. Secured with set screws. No drilling or tapping needed.

  3. Amega Scout Mounts: These will fit over the vent rib or onto a smooth barrel. These double as a heat shield and are easy to install. Currently unavailable.

Smooth Barrels:
The Amega Scout Mount rail or equivalent will be available for the smooth barrels of the Remington 870 and Mossberg 500. We are currently working on new designs.

Remington Tac 14:
Braze-on Picatinny rail mounts require that you send the barrel in for modifications. New products coming for bolt-on rail systems.

Mossberg 590: Shockwave 14” barrel
Braze-on Picatinny rail mounts require that you send the barrel in for modifications. The Mossberg 590 barrel rail system is currently in development. Updates are coming.
